Ministries

Ministries are the organized activities of our community with the intention of bringing more Love, more joy, more prosperity and Good to all involved.

We currently host a Celebration ministry, creating the Sunday program and other events. The Education ministry conducts classes, workshops, seminars. The Teen ministry hosts ongoing activities with the youth in our community, and the Practical Prayer ministry is devoted to healing through spiritual growth. Many other groups - large and small - take part in a variety of activities throughout our community.

Philly Spiritual Adventures

We've created a group on Meetup.com for Philly Spiritual Adventures. The activities include daily meditations as well as classes, workshops, events and Sunday Celebrations and new programs at various times and locations where Spiritual Adventurers can gather to connect, deepen, and be transformed.

Become a member of New Thought Philadelphia.

We believe that membership is about community. It’s about supporting and uplifting each other as we grow, learn and give back together. It takes place in small groups, and classes in New Thought principles and practices. It’s also about guiding and leading our community through service, whether that’s volunteering, serving on our Board of Trustees, or other activities.

Above all, membership is about finding your spiritual home – a place where you can be and become your best self, form lasting friendships, and make a positive impact on the world.

Service Opportunites

There are many openings for volunteers interested in helping to bring about our weekly celebrations - for people who are on-site or online. Training is provided, and no experience is necessary. This is an excellent way for you to lend a hand and connect with this growing community.

Daily Meditation, Prayer & Check-in Calls

The ministers and Practitioners of New Thought Philadelphia host online meditation & prayer sessions every day. These spiritual practices are open to all, and focus on health, harmony, peace and prosperity.

Weekday calls at 8am and 6pm.
Saturday call at 9am.
Sunday call at 6pm.

God Calls are your reminder that the Bright Light of God's Love is shining right now - as YOU! It's a simple way to pause in your daily activity for a gentle and uplifting moment of Truth.

The Calls go out every couple of days - between 8:15am and 6pm. You can listen live, or play them back from your voicemail. It's not a conversation, and you needn't respond in any way. Just listen, and let the Love wash over you.
